The patented manufacturing process used to produce RespiGard™ membranes was originally developed to create battery separators – a critical barrier membrane used in lithium battery systems.
Over time, due to their unique pore structure, these highly engineered films were found to outperform many other membrane technologies in terms of moisture vapor transfer capability. This discovery led to the development of a new membrane for outdoor apparel that has proven to be revolutionary to the technical textiles market.
All RespiGard™ membranes are manufactured in the United States and are Berry Amendment compliant.
